Even on loan there's a slew of players out there that would improve this squad so I'll be livid if we don't exhaust all of our loan options if we don't bring anyone else in, but knowing everton, disappointment is inevitable

Yeah, had a quick look on there before. Dunno about the Algerian guy but didn’t think Cedric was too bad. Aurier bit meh at Forrest and Spurs I thought

Also another disconcerting possibility is that they aren't even looking at the area and feel like it will be okay once Coleman and Patterson are fit which would be depressing

Wasn't familiar with him but he seemed to encounter a slew of injuries over the seasons covering 21-23

This is embarrassing but even with our history of being inept in aspects of operating a club I was weirdly optimistic even with our limitations I'm recruitment I thought we made a solid start then things just petered out with still significant flaws in our squad , then the friedkin deal collapsing and losing a game against the run of play hopefully a signing or two occurs but you've succeeded in crushing my spirit already Everton congrats

Lamptey when he played regularly under potter could only played in a back 3/5 not even remotely compatible with dyche's style unless we played him as a wing back but definitely couldn't play as a rb in a back four lacks the physicality

I'd still start him over Young
