Been banging this drum for ages but Dyche aside it concerns me that him and his two mini-mes just doesn’t seem enough of a coaching staff for a modern PL side, in terms of quantity and breadth of experience/ expertise. Seems like if Dyche wasn’t stuck in his ways then even if we didn’t want a full shake up we could add another coach or two for fresh voices and fresh ideas.

A defensive coach and an attacking coach would be a great place to start

Think unless we hear anything reliable about any incomings/outgoings by tomorrow night then we have to assume that nothing will be happening. Everton don't tend to do the whole 'deadline day' thing in recent times.

I can understand that, Pep Lijnders as manager and one of the best clubs in Europe for talents.

The last few years I’ve thought ‘surely they won’t leave that gaping hole in the squad at the end of the transfer window’ but they have, and they will again.

A decent right back? Natural pace and width? A goalscoring centre forward? A midfield playmaker?
Forget about it would be my advice.

I think we can muddle through for a season.

We also have Armstrong coming through so perhaps he's 5th choice.

If we were to bring one in then Chukwuemeka for me and sell Doucoure



The interesting thing for me is that if we take this to be a 12th placed squad at season end...weve lost 2 players from the 11:

Looking at the business objectively:

O'Brien - 3rd choice CB
Begovic - backup GK
Ndiaye - Jury's out
Lindstrom - Jury's out
Iroegbunam - Starting


I think, with the money I'd have preferred we went for Asprilla, Gnonto & Iroegbunam. Three young players with high ceilings that improve our 11.

I appreciate weve padded out the numbers but alot rests on Lindstrom and Ndiaye.
