Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

The last few years I’ve thought ‘surely they won’t leave that gaping hole in the squad at the end of the transfer window’ but they have, and they will again.

A decent right back? Natural pace and width? A goalscoring centre forward? A midfield playmaker?
Forget about it would be my advice.
It's less a gaping hole and more that centre half and keeper are an island surrounded by a vast empty ocean.

Howe on Kieran Trippier: "When you look at his performance on Sunday, that was a performance of someone that was focused and ready to help the team. I thought he did in every aspect.

"Kieran's experience and know-how on the pitch seemed to have a galvanising effect on the group so I was pleased with the impact.

"There will be only football talk [with Trippier this week], no other talk. I think he's in a good place."

Forrest make a £25 mill bid for 27 year old Wissa at Brentford.

Nothing on Dom.
I know Forrest have sold some players but how are they within psr this season? seems like they've been trying to replicate the chelsea recruitment model to a lesser extent, always seems like they're signing someone and they don't have 40 players like chelsea they do have a hefty squad

Havent really been keeping an eye - they sold Johnson and did a bit of jiggery pokery before the June deadline so say they are alright.

This window i think we are ok as well i.e. 24/25 - apparently we have £30 mill scope - but no cash.

Id say we are tight on 23/24 - that we could be charged with in Jan.
