I don't think there's been anything definitive, but it was billed as "minor" surgery, and it never sounded like a serious injury. Preminjuries has 28 Sept. as a possible return, but who knows how they arrived at that?

We should cook up a plan with Chelsea - buy Broja for 50m and sell DCL to Chelsea for 50m. FFP win for both and it doesn’t really matter who plays up front if we don’t cross or pass to them.

The issue is that when there is not much money available, its even more important to target your priority positions.

We haven't done that. And it's 5pm on deadline day and we still aren't 100% sure if our starting centre forward is staying at the club.

We need pace and attacking threat. Everyone can see it. Surely the club know it. So why was our remaining budget put towards a defender.

We brought in two attacking players.

The striker isn’t likely leaving. Whether we want that to be is irrelevant, that’s the most likely outcome at this late time.
