Everton Summer 2024 Transfer Thread

I badly want us to upgrade on our wing forwards, but our options at centre forward are so weak that I feel getting in a CF remains the greater priority.

I would like us to get Adebayo from Luton at the right price. I think he'd really fit well and prove effective in a Dyche set-up.
We have one winger at the club with the other two being young and dobbin. Pace and quality out wide has to be top of the list, whatever you think about the cf we have dcl beto chermitti and maupay (unfortunately who i hope we can sell)

Our striking options aren’t without fault but I think you’d see much better output from them if the wide and central creative options were improved so I’d rather that was prioritised.

The big issue with Branthwaite apart from we have to sell, what club does he pick who can pay big?

Chelsea - No manager and utter shambles at the moment.

Man United - Similar to Chelsea and easier to locate for a move but still it's a big job with a lot of problems.

Man City - Perfect move but does he start? It could go a bit Kalvin Phillips. Stones goes into Midfield perhaps.

Tottenham - Starts but he will still need to move up again.

Newcastle - Again like Spurs, could be years that he gets a trophy but it's closer to his home so might be a possibility.

I want a minimum £75m+ with sell on %
Newcastle cant spend that sort of money anyway can they?

Once again, no other club would've pumped that amount of money into Lavia and just because Chelsea did, it doesn't mean any half-decent CM is worth £50m+ now. Your valuation is bonkers and I can guarantee you right now we won't get anywhere close to £80m for him.

Do they yeah? What Barca scouts do you know that rate him?

He's a good player but still after two years now we're still basing his valuation on 'potential' rather than what he's actually delivered.

Perhaps you're forgetting Liverpool also bid for Lavia and Caicedo ?

He was the best midfielder on the pitch cs Arsenal.

Zat’s completely delusional with Onana. Onana would start for the 1970’s Brazil team in his head. He’s slapped £80m+ (was £120m at one point) on him based solely on Belgium vs Azerbaijan ages ago. Done absolutely nothing recently but yeah sure the top clubs in world football are entering a bidding war for him hahaha

When it comes to Onanas ability/potential I agree more with zat than I do with people saying he's rubbish. I rate him highly and think he will end up a top player in his position. There is no chance we get 80m for him currently though unfortunately.

Everyone knows we need to sell, and he's not had a season on the level of Branthwaite.

If he has an outstanding Euros AND a big club overpays for a midfielder this summer similar to the lavia deal then we can maybe get above the 60m mark, but even then I'm not sure.
