Wrong side of 30.
Just because he's the only player that can kind of play behind the striker doesn't make him essential to us.I think he's essential to the way Dyche plays.
Think is happy at the club see it similar to baines and could have missed his chance to kove to other clubs esp in england. As they have all bought gk recently, similar to dcl now is the best chance he will for other clubs to come looking for him with his deal running out so if he signa new contract could see him ending at evertonPickles, like most players, would jump at the chance of joining a top European club, but it's going to be very hard for him due to his valuation. Nobody outside of England is paying what we'd demand for him, which would obviously be north of £50m.
He's contracted until June 2027, so his best chance of a move would be hoping one of the English clubs ditch their current number 1s (all well stocked atm though) and make their move.
If that doesn't happen he's definitely going nowhere, which is good for us.
….seems to have lost his way a bit but could be an ideal loan;
He was on loan at the rs, lasted about half an hour and they sent him packing half way through his loan

I doesn’t want to move anyway does he ?Pickles, like most players, would jump at the chance of joining a top European club, but it's going to be very hard for him due to his valuation. Nobody outside of England is paying what we'd demand for him, which would obviously be north of £50m.

I have seen you mention this Verbruggen multiple times but replacing England's number one goalkeeper with a 21 y/o who hasn't had multiple seasons as number one would be suicidal.
Any potential increase in his value would be outweighed by significant decrease in revenue in the championship
No. One. Is. Buying. Pickford.
No club abroad have the money to buy him
No prem club need or fancy him.
Past 2 seasons he could've been picked off cheaper but wasn't. He signed a new deal last year which runs out in 2027.
Unless he has a release clause, no club is paying north of £50mill for Pickford.
I'm not buying that. We can do so much better than Doucouré. Fact is though, he's not going anywhere. We're not looking to sell - we've given him a contract extension but just to 2025 - and we wouldn't bring in any money by selling a 31 year old with just 12 months on his contract.
They spent near £50mill on him. They're not going to spend that and more on another keeper who's older when they don't have a defence or midfield.
The point is what money we would have yo spend from it, Verbruggen would not be an option for us brighton would want top money for him and we would not be ale to pay. I dont think we replace the quality we get from pickford if we sell him. You say is not an automatic relegation if we sell him like rich/dcl but well similar to rich/dcl then all walk into this side. No player we have bought in since rich is better than him and would be the same if pickford left. Why is being "Englands number one goalkeeper" important compared to being Hollands number 1 goalkeeper?
The best goalkeepers in England are typically the foreign ones.
As for age, I saw Donnarummas debut...he was top notch even then.
Selling Pickford isnt an automatic relegation...if hes replaced correctly.
Ive heard the same about the likes of DCL and Richarlison. Its a team game.
Who knows but he would walk into some of thos top 6 teams as well as United with their 'New Tim Howard' keeper.
Agree on the most part but Saudi would pay £10-15mil for him im sure.
Were talking about United right who loaned out Sancho & Greenwood. Have taken losses on so many yet replaced them.
As others have said, Chelsea, United, Spurs to name just 3 would benefit from having Pickford.
Definitely seems happy but you never know.
Just could not imagine him in a dyche set up at all think he would be another danjuma tbhWouldn't be against a loan. Had all sorts of injury issues at the RS but played 33 games last season for Fiorentina. Issue would be wages, got to be on 100k or more per week so we'd have to negotiate paying a proportion
