The rules are pointless. Absolutely not doing what people say they were put in place to do.

And now the rules are encouraging teams to offload academy players. Surely that's bad for the game ?

I never said they were going out of business. I said they've spent more than their means A.K.A. within the rules we all voted for and sit under.

This is a smart move to get us safely to July 1st (if this is an elaborate PSR hack).

If sacrificing Dobbin allows us to keep Branthwaite or inflate his fee then it's worth it.

It’s a smart move by both teams, I imagine it takes us close to the PSR line meaning we can keep Branthers or at least get a proper fee for him. There was rumours Dobbin wanted out anyway, he’s a good player, but we are getting another prospect for him. Well done to Kopite Kev & Villa for finding a loop hole

Total mismanagement though Dobbin is in his last year. And a shame if he is leaving as he could have been s good impact sub.

Dyche barely used Dobbin and our midfield is crap so we get the Villa lad in who might be of more use to him.
