We have 4 full backs only one of them is left footed 2 of them are nearly 40 and the other one is injury prone and has had about 5 good games at this level in his career there’s no doubt we could do with improving our options there it’s just whether we have the budget to do it.

Don’t get me wrong, I think we need a starting RB as Dyche doesn’t rate Patterson and also need better quality backup, but as we have just re signed Coleman and young, and Myko is good, unless Patterson is moved on, we aren’t bringing in another full back in my opinion.

And the initial post was about wanting more cover, not a starter.

Having 2 in each position, and then a utility like Godfrey works for us in terms of squad size etc.I just can’t see us bringing in another FB unless Patterson goes. Having 5/6 for the 2 positions causes issues in keeping them all happy as well as places in the squad, and needing the money in other areas which are more pressing (such as wingers).

I agree. I think we are weak on both sides. I am not a big Myko fan and am not sure any of the the RBs should be first choice.

Would anyone take Yasser Asprila from Watford for are right wing spot.

High level criticism because he really is a very good player, but I think the most important attribute we should look for in a winger is explosiveness, pace and 1v1. We have been missing a player with this profile for years.
From what I know of him, he is more of a technician, almost like a 10. I'd compare him to James Rodrigues (correct me if I’m wrong).
