If they had offered that on June 30th I could have seen us take it- but now it’s utterly pointless anyway unless they hit our valuation.

Absolutely, Dyche will come out with some [Poor language removed] like, he’s been on the grass and put the hard yards in, 12 month deal injured before the first international break, also Man U submit improved Branthwaite offer, let’s see if the yanks finally use this opportunity to make a real statement of intent and say he’s under contract, we don’t need to sell.
Sadly we all know how this is going to end.

The more bids come in the more it unsettles the player I would imagine regardless of the offer £

Unlikely to happen as if we have wanted to give him a new contract we would have offered him something by now and it has been said / reported that if we offered him a new contract we had to pay more money to Spurs (whether true or not I don’t know)
