We absolutely cannot buy Cornet, a left back who was played up front by Burnley just because he’s the only player they have that has anywhere near a modicum of a first touch or flair, to replace a forward.

Dennis or matching Brentford’s bid for Lewis-Potter I would say, or let Therwell look abroad, has to be a decent enough wing forward out there for a good fee surely?

If we get 40 million plus 20 million which equates to 80 million under ffp, but is spread over the next three years and Frank is only allowed to buy players from clubs who will accept a 5% downpayment then I reckon we will be back in Europe come the end of next season.

Even if we just buy two decent midfielders (and probably a CB for Mina if we can) then that is already not that bad a team. People really are catastrophising a bit too much because we sold one player.

They don’t even need to cost that much money. Get those players right and we’ll be in a far better situation.

Gray & Gordon had as many goal contributions between them as Richarlison did - 15. Can't be going in to the season with that front 3 IMO.
