We won't be getting both, for me Gallagher is a better player.

That 32 man squad gone to the USA is pretty woeful, until you see all the names on paper we are horrifically short on players of any real quality.

Yup, again, 2 competent mids can sort that. I keep seeing that we need a defensive mid, a creator etc, we just need a couple of players who can play a bit of football in a normal manner!

Just looking at how Lampard has setup at Derby, Chelsea and here until he had to become pragmatic.

It's obvious he won't target a traditional ball winner as a number 6, but try with a high pressing style instead across the mid/forward line.

It's why MGW, Gallacher, Zinchenko are all likely players he'd like in as all three have great stats in that regard although all three more attack minded box to box sorts.

Taking the current reports at face value it appears we are maybe pursuing young prospects as I have always hoped we would.
Unfortunately we seem to be fixed on young prospects who retail at nearly full price.
That isn’t the idea Everton you idiots!
Finding young prospects in the £5m to £15m price slot is the concept you’re meant to be aiming for.
Can you please start getting something right for Gods sake!
