What other club, could have gotten the money we’ve had in the last 5 years, and used it to turn us into relegation fodder, the way we have?

I’m literally gobsmacked that we are going into the season with a squad where I struggle to name 3-4 first team players I like or even accept as starters

It’s utterly soul destroying to contemplate the incompetence that’s done all this

PS I am normally a super optimist and haven’t been drinking today. So this isn’t some morose outburst - just statement of depressing fact

No player sales figures to go against that?
Quick fag packet calculation using Transfermarkt is over the same period from 16/17 to now (inc Richy sale) we've got in about 350m in player sales. So net loss of about 250, although of course that doesn't disappear into thin air as even with our poor squad you could probably get to a current squad valuation of around the 250 mark.

Not all of that was from our money, net spend is what we have actually spent….and i know it doesn't fit the narrative or make your point stand out as much…but we are less than half that amount net spend.

The RS and klopp have spent £900 million using your way…but have you ever heard anyone quote that for them!?!
Did £600m leave our club to purchase other players?? Yes or No, the answer is yes.

Don't blame net spend because we spent £100m on Bolasie, Walcott, Keane and Kean

And mert, don't care about the RS

Shambolic mismanagement

There's no mental gymnastics that can be done to come any conclusion other than us just spending an absolute boatload of money absolutely terribly.

We've spent a LOT more than we've took in from transfer sales and have gone backwards massively in the process.

It doesn't matter, we've spent £608m far more than any other club and invested it so poorly that we were in a relegation battle last year.

Stop acting like we've lost our best players year on year, we've lost 2 in 6 years. Lukaku and Richarllson - and at a massive push, Stones. The rest our bang average and we've been begging for them to leave - and we sold them at a loss

To expand.

Evertons Net spend over the last 3 years is around 40million.

In that time we have recorded losses of 386million.
Serious question. Are we writing off new stadium costs in our losses? Because I cant see us spending £346M on wages after the net spend deduction.
