Id really like Cornet mate, think hes a threat and adds to us, my one concern is whether hed get the same platform here he did at Burnley.

I think any thing over another 2 - 3 - we definitely need to move a few on from the squad to cut the wage bill - so i would think anything additional would be dependent.

If we got the three i mention id be very content.

But, will stress, it was just an example I was using of a player that it's pretty clear we'd like. Not saying it's a definite that we'll go for him though.

Just going off the general areas we seemed to have been linked too.

I'd say a striker, and 3 CMs mate is whst we want to add.

Cm seems like one where we want three different profiles, a ball winner/presser type (Gueye/Garcia the young massive french lad) a pivot (Gilmour/Winks) and a box to box who can provide goals (Gallacher/MGW)

No offence to the fella you know - he might be sound - but given that no one else knows anything about him, the above is hardly cast iron evidence.

Remember the influx of Turkish posters when he signed who all thought he was the best player in the world.

Don’t like either but given the choice I would go Gilmour as there is less danger of his purchase negatively effecting the fan base or squad harmony. Neither player has shown any recent form to suggest they could improve us

We'll loan most of them mate, Gomes, Gbanim the left back I can never remember the name of I imagine are all gonna end up loaned out this summer.

Think we will sell a cb either Holgate or Keane too, and Davies or Allan may get shifted on depending on interest.

We can’t leave ourselves with 3 CB’s when one of them is Mina. Could possibly see some Italian club taking Allan.

We cannot afford to make losses on sale. The wages of Gomes and Allan preclude loans but Gomes book value is <€12m so he might possibly be sellable if we are sensible. Davies is the obvious CM to try to sell but coming off a bad injury might not be the best market. We are pretty certainly going with 5 CB to cover a back 3 so if we shift one we’d add one. Again, hard to see any market for Keane.
