The issue is goals. Take Richy’s contribution out and there is not much there. Will need a breakthrough goalscoring season from Gordon/Gray/ McNeil or Dele to roll back the years

I don't think he's been particularly good for years now. They'll be fine with Ward or whoever.

I just think we're going to. I don't want to but I think we will.

FWIW McNeil playing on the right could do enough midfield things when we have the ball to make that side of it functional and getting Gana might be just enough out of possession to make that work too. It still isn't my preference but it is a lot closer than having Gray and Gordon on the flanks hanging wide all the time and Doucoure and Iwobi both not defending space well.

Maybe and he probably isn't ready, but it was said he wouldn't be allowed out on loan if we weren't bringing someone in. We have three wingers and one striker worthy of the name has to be someone coming in

He wouldn’t play anyway. If we want him to be ready for the PL, he needs to play regularly at a good level. Sitting on our bench won’t help.

He is not really part of the first team yet. He is not being replaced.
