Looks like he'd definitely be an asset in the air and would be fun for our other forwards to play with. Seems like he's always looking for his teammates and planning his next move before the ball reaches him, which is a really good thing for link up play from a forward.

At the same time, you can see just from that video why it's so hard to scout players from Ligue 1 - the pace and defending is so much different. I don't think he'd have the same space and lanes for most of the layoffs in the PL. He looks a bit plodding to me with the ball, as well. Definitely more mobile and an upgrade on Rondon because of his age.

A fun highlight reel. Wont pretend to know him at all. From glossary watching and stats seems more than reasonable as a backup striker. Anything more than that though at 26 shouldn't really be expected.

If we indeed have resources for a deal I would urge the club to go younger as this is a clear position with a looming succession down the pipeline. Buying at least with the idea of a player eventually filling Dom's replacement I would suggests is wise (something I think that could viably be done in the 10 million range). For the positions you can realistically plan turnover, a hypothetical replacement in due time should be the lens in looking in the market.
