Just bring one of the ones they have targetted in it's absurd at this stage... I like him but not sure the links to Maupay are as strong as Adams, as it's Maupay one is from Talkspurt. Adams link mentioned by Romano
 
How much for Maupay? He is preferable to a lot of the others linked but wouldn't offer more than £10m and we would need another forward in addition. I like his snarky attitude and work ethic and sure he'd join us. But still prefer him as a bench option most games.

15m was mentioned when Forest were in for him I did think how do they fit him Dennis and the several other forwards they have bought in. I am sure we were linked with him last summer too.
 

Why are we looking at decent players like Maupay and Adams when the likes of Haaland, Lukaku and Lewandowski were available this summer? I know we almost got relegated last season with one of our worst front lines in our history and no one in their right mind should want to come to us but I don't like looking at alright players from better sides than us, I'd rather us chase players we don't have chance with all summer so that I can spend the rest of the season moaning that we didn't get them.

Adams and Maupay outscored every single one of our players except Richarlison last year but I don't care because they're crap and don't improve us, actually the make us worse! I've found some 17 year old in the Swiss second division that's played 2 games professionally and he's much better, will only cost us £68m too which is nothing. The club needs to show some ambition and get the players that I want, not the players that they've professionally scouted for the positions that we're lacking in over the course of months.

There's a massive middle ground between the best strikers in the world and Che Adams.

It isn't ridiculous that fans would rather we aim higher than strikers who are currently just squad players from Southampton and Brighton.
