£15m seems a low fee given Brightons negotiating skills recently.
Looks like he’s averaging 1:4 goals to games for them, ~~2 years~~ into a 4 year deal and they paid £20m for him. No desperate need for money either.
Interested to see a bit more about fee and deal structure.
Edit - only one year left - makes more sense…..

Maupay.... Ignoring his ability for a second. This guy is another conference player who is hot and cold and often crumbles. How are we still ignoring personality when signing players?!? Never learn this lot

Maupay seems an odd choice to me, doesn't really fit as a replacement target man when Dom is out and unlike Diaz he doesn't really have a possible alternative role in the side when Dom is fit- unless it's 352. It does sound like they are valuing PL experience over Diaz's versatility though.
