I'd be suprised if we let Keane go now with Holgate injured

I thought he said it before the start of the season could be wrong though.I havent seen that.
None of them have pace though? Welch I know little of. Keane, Tarks, Coady scares me in the derbyNah, Keane, Coleman, Myko can all play in a back 3 and Welch looks decent enough too. The 3 at the back actually gives us more backup options than a 2 would.
If that's the case, Godfrey and Holgate have really played their part in keeping the band together.I'd be suprised if we let Keane go now with Holgate injured
Going to the other lotAnd Paredes !! ?
Because we'd have to pay them every penny in their contract up front, which is the exact thing we can't afford to do right now. There's no point anyway. Worst case scenario we ship out the likes of Gomes on loan and subsidise the wages and at least try to save what we can. There's not really that much deadwood left anyway, most departed the last two summers.We have a squad thin on quality, high on journeymen. Why can't they just pay the contracts up of the deadwood. They ain't moving as they're on a good thing here. I've never looked at players contract expiry dates with such hope as i have with some of the current squad
I can tell you right now, there’s absolutely no chance of DCL playing in the Derby, much less starting itHoping with some further business this week we’ll line up in the derby like this;
————Pickford————
Patterson—Tarkowski—Coady—Mykolenko
———Gueye——Iwobi——Onana———
———Gray——Dominic Calvert-Lewin——Maupay (or Gordon if he’s still here!)
I agree what you say mate. Just sickens me to hear rondon has an option of another year. The guy stinks the place out. Gomes has until 2024. Depends if anyone is interested in taking them on loan or otherwise. Seems like an holiday camp for some. Shame cloughie wasn't around to make them walk his dogBecause we'd have to pay them every penny in their contract up front, which is the exact thing we can't afford to do right now. Emphasis on the hope! Even if not for next week, i feel that 11 is significantly more solid and stronger than what we put out for most of last season.I can tell you right now, there’s absolutely no chance of Dominic Calvert-Lewin playing in the Derby, much less starting it
Also doubt we see Tarks and Coady in a twoI can tell you right now, there’s absolutely no chance of Dominic Calvert-Lewin playing in the Derby, much less starting it
Broja/some pacey attacker this week (crosses fingers)Emphasis on the hope! Even if not for next week, i feel that 11 is significantly more solid and stronger than what we put out for most of last season.
