not sure if already been mentioned, but Todd Boehly comes from baseball. Where player swap/exchange deals are more common... could be some truth in it. Surely we'd take that deal, 2 players FL has publicly admired. Gallagher's stock at its lowest its been since the start of last season, why would Boehly see him as a retainable asset?

Let's compromise: give us £75m for Gordon and we'll "pay" £30m for Broja. Both teams get help for the FFP accounting issues, and we essentially get £45m plus Broja for AG.

Why no Gallagher?

Because I want Gana (free) Garner (£15m) and Kudus (loan with option) for midfield. Gana is the experienced calm influence, Garner is the 6 and set piece option, Kudus is the creativity and ball carrier. No room in the squad for Gallagher too, even if Gomes and Allan both go.

Get Pereira on a loan with option too (track record of goals and assists in the Prem) and we're looking at a strong window overall, even if McNeil and Maupay don't pan out.
