I don't think it would ever be that easy. Utd have a reputation as being difficult to negotiate with. Second only to Spurs.

I reckon our inability to shift Allan and Gomes has put a stopper on any Garner interest. We’d just have too many centre mids then.

I can’t see Garner anymore myself. Just seems to have died off with all the Gana delays.

I’d honestly prefer Frank to develop Warrington for that position. I think with Onana, Gana, Doucoure, Iwobi (not to mention Davies and others we can’t get rid of) we have enough without Garner. Save the money for an attacker and develop Lewis ?

Chukwueze was in all the media reports as a potential superstar 2-4 years ago.

For me, Id go for Mudryk so we have Ukraine's left hand side.

I get that sentiment but personally rather bring Garner in and loan out Warrington. We have Gana coming in too but no idea how long we’ll get out of him. I just think for £14m or whatever that’s a snip for Garner.

That’s how I took the rumour. Verbal bid last week around the time we all thought Gordon was gone. I don’t believe we’re still interested.

…makes sense, he’s a very similar type. Maybe something that could still happen if he doesn’t move in this window.

He still does though. It's where he always plays for England. He didn't at Forest but only because they played with 2 mids.
