Everton Summer Transfer Thread - 2022

Is anybody worried about next season? It’s early days I know, but you would think we would made some effort already to stop what happened this season from happening again. We may just have delayed the inevitable.
Lampard and Thelwell have both been on holiday and are back this week apparently

If season had started when lampard took over, we would have finished 13th. Which statistically, isn't one of the bottom 6 like you have just predicted for us next season.
You're not technically wrong. You of course are ignoring for example that we'd be above West Ham by one point but having played three more matches.

Lampard got 20 points from 18 matches. That's 42 over 38. Not relegation more than likely but also a place with zero margin for error.

?

42 points would be 3 games clear of relegation this season. That some margin of error. And I would anticipate with an actual preseason with the squad, and not coming in mid season at rock bottom, he would be more clear than that even with the same squad.

He's always been very reliable in regards to anything he publishes re Lampard too, guess they know each other pretty well from his Chelsea days with Law basically being their Joyce.

I see Dean Jones saying yesterday Southampton are very interested in him, sounds all a bit puppet mastery from Daniel to me, playing journos to flush out interest and maximise profile. Southampton on Sunday, Everton on Tues.

I hope say mate. I just didn't see much improvement over those first 18 games to suggest it. Yeah having a whole summer could make a difference. I don't think it has to.

If you want, start a relegation thread or the Lampard thread, but take this garbage elsewhere.
