Some people are definitely overstating the improvement there, both in terms of how good it is on paper and in terms of how they've defended so far.

I agree I've seen very similar mistakes and uncertainty and we are conceding even though lampard stated we arent

The role was called 'professional development co-ordinator', Joe Royle was doing it for a while then Martin Dobson took over in 2018.

No idea when he left though, but it's not really a new job at all.

Whilst I agree to an extent, whilst selling Gordon would have generated a lot of money we aren't an attractive proposition at this moment in time. If Onana and Garner have good seasons and we look like a club that's going places then we could attract players and use the money well.

Exactly. If we didn't have Frank as manager we may not have got the players we did.
