Hope we’ve got a replacement lined up sharpish. Wonderful player but will be made up if we get someone young, quick and able to play more than a handful of games a season in.

If the rumours are to be believed and we are after leao then I wouldnt be surprised to see us get a high fee for james (say 20m) then buy leao for a high fee (say 40m). Then both paid over the course of the contract.

Essentially leao would only cost us 20m where he'd usually cost 30m but we can inflate the price to make our books looks good but were basically giving the over inflation of the fee straight back.

If that makes sense? It sounds like it makes sense in my head anyway lol

I’m apathetic about the vast majority of our squad so any outs don’t really bother me. Genuinely only arsed about Digne, Godfrey and DCL staying, though I do worry about Digne.

James, Richarlison, Kean and whoever else wants to go can go, everyone has their price. Good to see Big Nev calling Delph, Gomes, Bernard and Iwobi deadwood, he’s not wrong. Deadwood on big bloody wages and contracts too. Would be happy to see the back of all of them.
