Well we improved a fair bit, and the 4 signings all did pretty well. I'd say it was our best window since Moshiri came in.

He says he wants to work with Brands. He has also done a full evaluation of the squad. He will have an idea of the kind of player he wants, it will be up to Brands to find them.

He did say in an interview once that he had hundreds of in depth analysis of players from around the world. So I imagine he probably knows who he wants.

The problem he had at Newcastle was he was getting his 5th,6th or even 7th choice player. I imagine here he will get better quality of players.

Summer 2018 with Digne, Richarlison, Mina and Gomes (pre Injury) was at least as good if not better than summer 2020

I think Allan has been disappointing. Doesn’t look at all suited to the Premier League.
