Who says he will cost 60m+
He cost us £40m, has gone on to be a regular Brazil international, and is contracted until 2024.
Easily £60m+.

Who says he will cost 60m+
Definitely. His agent said a year or two ago the club were looking for over £100million for him. I know his value will have gone down a bit with pandemic/contract/form but I’d be surprised if we weren’t looking to make a decent profit on any sale.He cost us £40m, has gone on to be a regular Brazil international, and is contracted until 2024.
Easily £60m+.
Everybody knows that xG is a far more important stat than actual goals.
id be suprised if brentford sold him after getting promotedI'd prefer the rumours around us going for Ivan Toney to be true than any thought of going for Ings.
I doubt he would leave Leverkusen after one season anyway.Hopefully not true, would be an atrocious signing. Flavour of the month.
Too old. No development of resale potential. We really need to be moving away from short term fixes if we are ever to develop our own identity and footballing philisophy
Personally think it's embarrassing that people use this as a stick to beat anyone with. I'm sure Dofs have meetings all the time, just because we happen to have heard about two of them doesn't mean they should automatically be signing a player as a result
If I was expected to seal a deal every time I had a client meeting, I'd have been out of a job years ago
Yeah I see that angle mate, thought he was older but yeah not 29 until 23rd July.
I wouldn't be against it. It's just not where I'd be looking to spend £15-20m and £90k a week wages first up.
Edouard from Celtic, 1 year left on his deal and would be cheap backup. Smart business but we probably target some 29yr old fading star with dodgy knees on £140k p/w
I think we need goals mate, for all DCL great attributes and good return last season, i dont think hes brilliantly clinical nor is his conversation ratio top. Thats not a criticism that's just analyzation of his strengths and weakness. Ings is different, hes very clinical, reminds me a bit of a linker goal poaching type. I think we need that type player, we need a secondary contributor and variance.
PL goals are invaluable, a striker who scores them is worth his weight, id have no problem signing him on the terms you mention.
We're not getting European football with DCL and only Tosun as back up in my personal opinion. We struggle for goals overall.
Why do we keep saying we are a bigger club so they’d play for us?
How do you justify saying we are bigger? Villa are arguably bigger
Man City, too? Mission aborted.
Talksport been playing with the random club/player generator again?
