Everton Summer transfers 2021

Hmmm, DCL's conversion rate was very good last year until the tail end of the season.

Here's a quick look at them compared from last season in the PL.

I'm not saying I'd say no, but we need a wide forward who can offer a goal threat first and foremost. We also need a right-back and a midfielder.

We have goals in the team if we can get better service and sustain pressure more.

God bless your Eyesite mate i cant see that can you post it bigger. Anecdotally i would say DCL isnt as clinical in the way Andy Cole wasnt, they would both miss three on average to get 1. Not saying he doesn't score volumes of goals, but he misses a good few i think he should score.

Someone like Ings has different attributes, hes a poacher and can score against the run of play, or when a goal nicks a a game, hes a kin to a sticky Lineker type, a bit different to DOM. But the pair of them strengthen are options significantly. Im not saying it has to be one or the other or who is better its about variance and improving our goal output. DCL clearly needs support in my option and we need variance and options.

Personally i think we need another striker, we struggle with balance in the team, balance between containment and scoring and we have limited consistent options when it comes to who will score golas, really its DCL, James, Gylfi and Richy - we need better variance and out put then that if Europe is to be realistic., there isnt enough goals in this side..

Spot on - Danny Ings IS what we need in the squad. Providing he isn't the main man we can afford for him to pick up the occasional injury providing he bags us 10+ goals a season.

Sadly with 12 months on his contract one of the big sides will pick the supposedly not good enough for EFC player up for a bargain fee.

Why him though? Hes on £120k+ and Chelsea seem to want £60mil for him i think?

Didnt Tuchel start playing him at RWB?

If Moshiri wants us to be challenging as he claims then he needs to spend more than £55mil net a season.

Phillips would be a great signing.

Richarlison was up top...but who was feeding him?

Also, why is it "insane" to sell experienced players when their experience is failure?

We definitely cant keep both and Mina is a far better player....it seems clear that we should have sold Keane a season ago when his contract was winding down.

Holgate may go forwards this season. An injury + no preseason then shifted RB to CB cant help.

We could go with White, Godfrey, Holgate and Branthwaite and even loan someone to make up the numbers if it meant having an excellent first choice pairing.

Well, were a far bigger club than several of those players currently play for and would pay the required wages.

Plus they expand our existing group of England players

Precisely...id even suggest Konsa at Villa will push into the squad soon.
What do you consider failure? Not playing for City? Keane has played for United and has caps for England. Hardly a massive failure. Mina played for Barca and is currently starring for his country in the Semi final of the Copa. What a loser!!! Or are you just saying all of our players are failures? If so there's no point in keeping any of them.

White, Godfrey, Holgate and Branthwaite would be a disaster waiting to happen. We know that you love kids but who's the leader there? Where is the experience when the going gets tough? Holgate's career to date doesn't suggest that last season was a blip. Branthwaite needs to play at a lower level to gain experience. My point was that you have to keep one of the experienced players for leadership and stability. Unless you want a second CB this summer too?

As a CF which teams does Richarlison get in? City? United? The Reds? Leicester? Arsenal? Spurs? Chelsea? I don't see him getting into any of those and he isn't a better CF than DCL either

What's your definition of a big club? We're not a "far bigger club" than Dortmund or Leeds.

One of hardest things PL teams find to do mate is to have a competent second striker, someone good will pick up Ings without a shadow of a doubt, he and his agent know it to, which is why hes walking out on Saints.

Man City, too? Mission aborted.

Could be bollocks but absolutely sickens me that.

Man City currently got Ruben Dias (£60m), Laporte (£57m), Ake (£41m) and Stones (£50m) at CB but could spend another £50m for a backup CB because they can. How is any club supposed to compete with that? Then I think of the amount of money that flump Walsh pissed away for us. Shocking.

Hahah sorry mate, it's from a crap computer and jsut realised it's just a screenshot. But basically their conversion rates are very similar.

Ings is definitely a good all-round player. Like I said, I like him, just think the priority is elsewhere right now
