He did sign a very highly rated youngster in Moise Kean and people have done nothing but moan about it.Not too sure what you expect from our highly paid director of football but signing talented kids shouldn’t be one of them, leave him alone....

As long as there is the money for his wages and his compensation, I'm sure he couldn't give less of a toss. You think Benitez would of signed if we had
No money to spend?.

Lots of people keep saying this, but personally, I do yeah. You think Benitez would of signed if we had
No money to spend?.
Fair enough. But since they are an enormous club, £100m or no deal.
In Spain you have to actually pay the release clause before you can discuss terms with the player and if terms can't be agreed the fee is refunded.
Of course , in practice this never happens because discussions have already taken place before the fee is paid between the player's agent and buying club.
Weve spent hundreds of millions in recent years
If we dont part with Richarlison then there'll be no signings ?
So you dont think Moshiri will back this manager ?
Funny way of thinking that.
You think Benitez would of signed if we had
No money to spend?.
Apologies I was just having some fun. Yes he will back him because the backlash will be something else if he appoints Rafael and does not give him money.
He's backed every other manager.
He will back this one.
As long as there is the money for his wages and his compensation, I'm sure he couldn't give less of a toss.

We obviously aren't poor but have a cashflow problem related to FFP (whatever's left of it) and PL compliance rules. I think Benitez is exactly the kind of manager we would hire if we had no money to spend. I reckon the promise would be along the lines of: year 1 we will give you as much as we can from cash generated from player sales. Year 2: if we are back on an even keel we will back you big time (whether it is meant or not).
Could be wrong, but that's my gut feeling.

Behave. You're saying that he's doubled his value since he got here. When he's been mediocre at best.I don't think that's outrageous for a current Brazilian international forward although I suspect we would let him go for a fee of £80 m +

60mil would be an absolute stretch.
Bale is retiring next year and Isco is fat - swerve those Iberian chancersRicharlison linked to madrid.
its pretty inevitable, give the Ancelotti link, no fee mentioned, but we should be after £80m to £90m. Do Madrid have that kind of money? I am not so sure, they may try and give us Bale and Isco and some cash over time.

This is why no one wants to buy our guff like Andre Gomes, because they can get a player as good or better and younger for less than half the price.
Don't make me agree with you Rafail.60mil would be an absolute stretch.
