Behave. You're saying that he's doubled his value since he got here. When he's been mediocre at best.

60mil would be an absolute stretch.

Hold on, has he? He has scored 33 goals in 3 seasons. If that's "mediocre" can you show me the list of wingers, under 25 who have a better record over the last 3 years in the PL?

When we signed him he scored 5 league goals, so why would we sell in for in and around the same fee? Firmino for example has scored 30 (league) goals in the last 3 seasons, when in his absolute prime, not entering it. How much would a 24 year old Firmino be getting touted for? £90m? Richarlison is significantly better than him. Zaha is another 1, scored 25 league goals in the last 3 seasons, and is 4/5 years older than Richarlison, and is touted at £50m+ now. He would be around £100m too if he was 24, and he has an inferior record to Richarlison?

I'd appreciate to see your logic on how he has been "mediocre" and why £60m is "an absolute stretch".

I hear you, last season was pretty average in turns of hard evidence returns.

But as it stands right now he has a 1/3 goal to game ratio in his everton career where we picked him up for 50m.

60 is too low from many more reasons

You are talking of selling the one of the only players we have who is genuinely exciting enough to get your bum off the seat, only Digne compares and possibly DCL.
Even if he has had a relatively poor season recently, I would be loathe to lose him,
But then I suppose the upcoming season of dirgeball doesn’t require players with mercurial talents.

Richy can be a good squad player for a top club

he has enough skill not to be a drop off and he has immense work rate

he is not worth the price we will demand though

If we can get a huge fee I’d have no issue selling Richalrison. Ultimately if Madrid have come in and we don’t let him go he’ll be sulking next season anyway. I’m not really sure why Ancelotti wants him though.

Do we think Benitez has suggested whom he'd like to add to the squad? Also who to let go?
Will he have even managed to assess the current bunch?
Is there a plan?

Richarlison linked to madrid.

its pretty inevitable, give the Ancelotti link, no fee mentioned, but we should be after £80m to £90m. Do Madrid have that kind of money? I am not so sure, they may try and give us Bale and Isco and some cash over time.

There would have to be a player swap involved. They're broke and got Bale returning on half a mill a week

well he has not been given much of a chance in the first team, but we have had him since Silva was manager, he didnt really impress when he did play, apart from the Newcastle game. He has had 2 managers since, one temporary, one permanent, neither seemed too enamored with him, now we have a new one, we shall see what happens. But he has had 37 appearances (many as sub) 4 goals and 2 assists.
I think the main thing people have pointed out is that he doesnt look like he is working hard in the games. I think fans will forgive forwards, if they are not scoring, but they are working hard. It also make you wonder if he maybe doesn't do it in training, or doesn't do whats asked of him on the pitch, which is why he was subbed on and subbed off against Man Utd. If he stays this season and doesn't work hard in training and doesnt do what Rafael says on the pitch, he wont play. Historically Rafael has been very structured in his approach and not afraid to sit players out, regardless of their price tag or profile.
Thanks for this.

I reckon £80-100mil...if hed come off a good season i think wed ask £120mil.

The player is the one to pay the release clause in Spain to buy himself out of his contract.

I worked it out the other day.

Weve spent £55mil a year net since Moshiri came in.

Yet he claims he wants us challenging around the top of the league.

Poppycock and an eyeopener.
I haven't worked it out but had a suspicion it was around this figure. Not particularly inspiring.
