It’s only the 8th July. It’s far too early for Brands. He only works the last week of the windows.

A couple of weeks and he will tell us that the manager wants to assess the whole squad before recruiting, then it’ll be too late.

You could lump off all of our squad reserves (iwobi, Bernard, delph, stek etc.) and replace them with academy players and have no change to the result

How do you know we weren’t in for him? Maybe he preferred to stay down south? Maybe he bought into Palace’s vision more? Maybe we had a look at him and decided there was something he was missing? He hasn’t kicked a ball in the PL yet but we’ve made the world’s most catastrophic decision in not signing him??

Nunes was put forward by Jorge Mendes when Nuno was in the frame for the job. It's a non-story.
