If it doesn’t fit this criteria it’s a rubbish buy and we’re getting relegated.

You act like those are the only two options. Gray might work out but he's a player that has been knocking around the PL for years with little impact. We're signing him from Germany, btw, so I'm not sure what the foreign league point was all about.

I know you're girlfriend uses HUGE liberally but it's definitely not a huge upgrade. If it's an upgrade at all it's a modest one.
