Then you have Richy, McNeil, Gray and Townsend.

James as a real luxury player. He can play off the right or in the centre in the rare occasions he's fit. We shouldn't be relying on him as a regular member of the squad.

When we buy from teams above us we're accused of "getting their cast offs", and when we buy from teams below us, we should be aiming higher - "if they were any good they'd be playing for......."

Someone will always have a problem with whoever we sign - and many will be right - but basing your assessment of a signing purely on the club they've been purchased from is nonsensical.

Looks like we are building a good pub team for the Sunday league games at Arrowe Park. From the match coverage, looks like we played our two friendlies there as well, mind.
