I mean, I mentioned three players, you arbitrarily whittled it down to 1. They were just examples, I could have mentioned Delph, King, Sidibe and so on.

However, this exchange was about you telling us how great a job Brands has done shifting Bernards wages, which was weird given he was the guy who gave him the massive wages in the first place. At best he has belatedly corrected an error he made in the first place.

He's not as good as Tommy Clevs (which is simultaneously harsh and accurate) and he'll cost a hell of a lot more in fees and wages. @ForeverBlue92 is psyched though and that's the important thing. Benitez does it again!

Not sure what that has to do with anything but ok. Walcott was a bad signing. Walsh was also a bad DoF. Like Brands.

Respectfully disagree mate.
Virtually everybody was made up when we signed Bernard.
He was on a free as his contract was run down. It was a gamble worth taking. It didn't pay off , but was still worth trying.
Delph again has been a failure , but the logic was correct , smallish transfer fee and therefore higher wages. Flexible position wise , PL winner , but injury doubts.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
I have no problems with Begovic , Townsend or Gray as squad signings (although slightly surprised that the latter got a 3 year contract).
Iwobi is the one that stands out though !. Nothing against the lad , but never rated him at Arsenal , was willing to give him a chance , but we massively overpaid re the fee , and his salary
