Pretty sure Watson played up front under Walter Smith but never started any games up front when we finished top 4 under Moyes.

I think he plated some games up front under Moyes but not the top 4 season. Maybe the Magnificent 7th season? The season after when we finished 17th was the one he got a hat trick against Leeds IIRC

Im sure he played wide right for that hat-trick (like old schoool right midfield).

Even so we can still buy them young and develop them. Like we did with DCL and should have done with Vlasic and Lookman and hopefully will do with Nkounkou. Not sure this manager we have is interested in that though.

Tbh we did try to do that with both of them but both wanted away from the team to get first team football.

So they both went out on loan. Then Vlasic started to try to force his way out of the club by slating the club and bigging up the RS in interviews. Lookman came back and made it perfectly clear he didn't want to be here.

Not really sure what we could of done to "develop" them really besides play two players who were blatantly not good enough for the Premier league to our detriment just to keep two kids happy.

They both played games for us lookman (36) and Vlasic (12) did nothing at all I could say made them worth keeping. Vlasic turned like a u-boat and lookman well tbh getting rid of him when he did is probably brands best bit of business, sold him at exactly the right time judging by how well he's done at RB and fulham. If Vlasic moves on and the reported sell on % we have for him is true then we'll of made double our money on a player who wasnt good enough for us.

Hello fellow Evertonians I am looking for some support in my application. In view of recent signings I am thinking of writing to Mr Brands and asking for a trial, I am a young 79 year old who has supported the blues for more than 70 years, I even played on Goodison park in 1954 and helped my team to win a schoolboy cup, I can play right back and can get down wing quite quickly, even quicker with my walking stick, I promise I come on a free and would not add to the deadwood because I would play for nothing, any takers please.
