If rondon comes in he is 3rd choice behind dcl and rich dont mind it aslong as on low wages and short term deal. Then hopefully the club can bring in another rm rb then.
 
No one is gonna get a tune out of this lot what a shambles, this fella in charge liked energy for first 30 minutes ha,not happening with this lot .clear out never really happened and now the season begins next week. We could hypothetically sign a Dumfries and McNeil and probably a 3rd player as well with that £18 million as those signings outlay would be paid over the duration of their contracts ie. 3-5 years. Wages obviously play a factor but we've cleared a few off the books this summer and will still likely offload 1-2 more such as Kenny/Delph/Gomes you would hope before the window ends (potentially Soggy as well depending on what happens there).

It's what we likely had hoped we could have done with Kean/PSG which never materialised.

This is wonderful if Brighton paid for Holgate in full up front, no doubt they will look for a structured deal with say $5m upfront, you know they same thing we and everyone else would do?

Plus the link to this transfer is El Bobble? FFS!

I've a feeling Townsend will be more effective.
 
We’ve really got to take advantage of the kind start, fixture wise. I think 10 points from 18 is the minimum requirement.

I saw those players win at Anfield, White Hart Lane, the Emirates, the King Power, the London stadium, Elland Road etc. You don't win at those grounds without putting in a level of performance. We were literally top 8 all season until the last game. They can perform. Rafael needs to make them consistent...
