I said it yesterday mate, the likes of Brighton, Norwich, Leicester pick up players relatively cheap, develop and move them on, we go for premier proven gash, the fella cant get a look in at Man u, we will end up doubling his wages and a 5 year contract

We say this mate but how good is the recruitment at the likes of Brighton/Norwich?

I mean Norwich are a yoyo club and Brighton finish around 14th-16th every season.

I agree that we are lazy when it comes to scouting though we have been since Moyes left.

Replacing kean with King was a great indication of strategy. Players depart which leads to catestrophic panic e.g Iwobi.

must admit havent seen much of Perreira at United. The clip shows why Benitez wants him: a more hard working attacking creative midfielder. But what worries me massively is that we fill our squad with players who might score 2-5 goals at most in a season except Richarlison, DCL and Rondon . Gray, Townsend already go in that category. If we sign McNeill and/or Peirrera they are the same. Doucoure maybe can get a few if played further forward.

Well in Norwich case you have Aaron's, Cantwell, they bought Buendia for £1.6 m and sold him for what £38m? That's 3 players that would improve us, Bissouma, Lamptey another 2 that would be better than we have, Leicester you know how well they generally do in the transfer market, we are poor, over the last 5/6 years who have we got that's value for money or made us a profit?

Typically because smaller clubs can afford to take the risk mate clubs like us aiming for europe tend to sign their better players in the same manner the top clubs sign our better players.

Our problem tends to be we sign the wrong established players

Toshun over Danny Ings
