Everton Summer transfers 2021

Interesting stats mate.
Tom gets far too much stick on here , and I think that part of it is because he is one of us , and some lads seem even more critical than with others.
Let's be honest his whole senior pro career has been blighted by being managed by absolute tools. (Carlo excepted , but he wasn't interested).
I think he did well last season because his game was simplified. And in the games it wasn't simplified, he didn't do as well.

I'm not saying he should start every game, but I am saying he's not the midfielder that right now we should be looking to move on and I think in a 4-3-3 type system, he'd help free our other, better, midfielders up.

Hopefully it might mean Davies is on his way or another step further from the first team. 4231 and we’d have Doucoure Allan Gbamin Anguissa Delph Davies for the deep midfield pairing positions. Probably one too many if they’re all fit so hopefully Davies or Delph would be on their way out.
Well without question, if one is going out it should be Delph. Have absolutely no issue with Davies being a squad player. Came on a lot last year. Don't know why he gets so much hate on here. Would rather Davies play than Gomes. Even though Gomes has more ability, he is too slow and too mentally weak, unfortunately.

Is he any good

Anguissa would be an excellent signing - Can't see it happening without shifting somebody for actual money very quickly though
I thought Villa had offered £18 million and Fulham were holding out for £21million? So how would we afford it?

Only thing I could think of would be loan with obligation, but you would think that, given the choice, a player would choose Villa over us at the moment.
