He’s cover in an emergency. That’s what he brings. He’s there so if for any reason our 1st and 2nd choice keepers get injured (and we aren’t in/near a transfer window) he could come in a game or 2 max.

experience is the key. He’s played 400 games in his career, albeit at lower league level. He won’t have an ego and will know his role. He might even be able to give Pickford a pointer or 2 on the mental side of the game or positioning or something else. You never know.

He also knows the area. A great bit of business!

yesterday it was said (dont know how reliable) he likes to go to Inter but would be open to the Premier League as well. Read that his former Lazio coach is now at Inter, so fear the worst. However Inter are trying to sign Thuram who is an attacker/winger. So let's hope they dont sign another player that we want.

Hope you're right fella. I don't think we will unless someone offers good money for one of our players - which I can't see happening.

I think all 3 of James, Kean and Gomes will be loaned out for nothing with us paying a part of their wages on deadline day. We may get a loan, but I doubt it!
