Good morning blues, it’s 25th of August and even rumours of our transfer business seem to be waning. There’s still time to do some deals but with it being players out before players in the question is who, if anyone will we move on?

Rafael Benitez says Everton fans understand the "difficulties" the club are facing in the transfer market because of financial fair play regulations.

Benitez also said he felt the backing of the majority of Blues fans soon after his appointment and acknowledged a small group of supporters in a corporate box who chanted his name after the 2-1 win over Huddersfield Town.

Inter Milan are closing in on a 30m euros deal for Lazio's 27-year-old Argentine forward Joaquin Correa.
Talks on final details and deal set to be completed.

Matheus Nunes has his heart set on staying with Sporting Lisbon despite long-running links with Premier League pair Everton and Newcastle United, as reported by Record.

Tottenham have agreed a £14.5million deal plus add-ons with Metz for midfielder Pape Sarr. The 18-year-old Senegal international will stay with the French side on loan for the season. Sarr was courted by a number of sides this summer, including Aston Villa, Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea, with Metz president Bernard Serin confirming they had received a number of offers. Young goalkeeper Joao Virginia is headed to Portugal on loan for the season. Unconfirmed reports say that Sporting Club de Portugal (aka Sporting Lisbon) will cover half of his unconfirmed £10,000-per-week contract, and will also have a deal to buy the player outright for £3 million at the end of the season should they choose to do so. Southampton have confirmed the signing of former Everton youngster Thierry Small

The club announced on their official website that the 17-year-old left-back had joined the club after Small cancelled his scholarship with Everton.

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing CSKA Moscow and former Everton winger Nikola Vlasic.

That's according to the Guardian, who are reporting that David Moyes is eyeing the 23-year-old as an alternative to Jesse Lingard.

Everton sold Vlasic to CSKA in 2019 for £14m after spending the previous season on loan with the Russian outfit and have been linked with a move for the winger in recent weeks.

Do think we will have a “we’ll go with what we have got” style end to the window.
Can’t see us moving many on now personally and we won’t be throwing silly money around.

looks like another year with the issues on the right hand side.

mental I thought 100% that Vlasic completed that AC Milan move!!! Seems he never

Double is a big shout but he's a good player and he'd be good for us playing similar to how Doucoure does but with potential still to have more about him. I kind of doubt it'll happen because honestly I don't see McKennie giving up on his Juve career that fast.
You must be getting dizzy with all your flip-flopping mate.

Couple pages back you were categoric that McKennie was not of the quality required to replace any one of our current midfielders. Now he'd be good playing for us?

Make your mind up.

….possibly, but Benitez suggesting we are looking to bring a few in to strengthen the squad suggests to me that we might just do that.
