I would imagine the fact that Delph and Gordon were not even on the bench last night means they are on their way. I actually think Gordon could be a decent back up option this year but I guess needs must.

Delph - You'd hope so

Gordon - We've got 3 widemen above him in the pecking order and Richarlison often plays on the left, I think a loan would be the best move.

Just the nature of the market atm, a lot of the players we need to shift are on too bigger wages.

It's nice in theory to think we could shift 10 for 50 mil but was never realistic.

I think we'll see more outgoings, but at best a few loans.

Would be really good if we could see some movement before Saturday but it looks like it's another deadline day maneuvers once again.

I expected Gordon to be on the bench but he wasn't involved either. Wonder could he be off as well?

I agree, but he has set the price based on what he thinks he can get for him, which becomes his value. The money men can reduce or raise that valuation dependent on how badly they want the kid out of the club.

Our concept of what we think he is worth is obviously different.

Do Rangers need money from the sale of the player ?, that is what will ultimately be the deciding factor.

I can see it being a mad last day scramble. James going, Coutinho in on loan, some young right back no one has heard of from the Leichtenstein 3rd division. Kean was unlucky last night to get sent off and have his goal ruled out, great finish, I think he could turn out to be a good player if he gets his head right.

The point of getting James off the books is not so we can bring Coutinho in on similar wages.

It's interesting watching Benitez being the pragmatist so far - not throwing his toys out the pram about transfers, trying to get a tune out of Holgate, Davies, Iwobi, Kean etc.
