Come on then Einstein, what precisely would you be doing and how much would you be bringing in ?
Don't generalise, give us the specifics of your masterplan ?

* should be entertaining if nowt else

I don't get paid millions a year by a Premiere League Club to give that answer.

Kean is another crap signing he is unable to shift for any decent fee - like Delph, Iwobi, Benard, Gomes the list goes on.

We aren't mugs. We are victims of the circumstances that we are in and everyone else.

A loan with an obligation was the most likely outcome the whole summer.

Don’t agree personally. We’re stupid and massively poor in the market of investing in and selling players, despite the resources we put into it from a scouting, administration and DOF point of view. We literally can’t give away players.

We’re not victims, we created these circumstances through poor decisions and recruitment.

Kean leaves last season, success in the CL, tears up French league, we don’t pay his wage, then end up dropping a wage on Josh King - that’s stupid and of no benefit to us on or off the field. Worringly those making decions haven’t learned from it and doing the same thing again.

Its stupid, no other words for it.

55 mil net per season
Thats chump change this day and age if you want to be up there with the big boys.
55 mil gets you 1 half decent player in todays market.
Every club sells players and spends the proceeds.

We did that and then some and we got worse not better. That's down to the appointments made by Moshiri on who got to spend the cash.

Just thinking that all of this could free up funds for any new incomings which we are desperate for instead of having players on our books who cannot play for us and yet we still pay for
Like Fabian Delph?

he who can’t be named won’t be kicking a ball in this country again with the fans back in stadiums regardless of what happens. He’s been suspended but because there are no charges as yet he isn’t guilty of anything so will be paid by the club.

But Andy if you've spent all summer saying the figure for Kean is X, and at the back end you accept Y what message does that send out to the football world. What do you think happens when the next asset goes up for sale?
I'm not the one suggesting Brands is useless Catcher.
I expect we had a price in mind for the sale of Kean but, if nobody will pay it then to agree a loan with a commitment to buy at the end of that loan might be the best way forward.

It sends out the message this player is crap please take him off our hands. We won’t have the same issue trying to sell a Richarlison.

We could name half a dozen players on this one…. But fair enough about the 31 year old.

maybe hope this situation resolves itself sooner rather than later…

Ridiculous to loan him, keep him and give him a fair chance like everyone else gets, if it doesn't work then sell him next summer when we've got time to replace him
If it's an obligation to buy it's absolutely fine. It kicks the can down the road for Juve but as long as the obligation kicks in before the end of Everton's accounting year, it's the same as getting a fee for him right now.

A player who isn't wanted here, who doesn't want to be here in a summer of financial issues in the sport.

Signing him in the first instance was a mistake, but I think people are deluded if they think we were in a position to extract a big transfer fee for him this summer.

Only way Kean should be leaving on loan is if it’s an obligation to buy, which is fine. He’s a bit of a tool and he’s not all that so we’ll get our money back, and we might actually be able to sign someone now. Perhaps, dare I say it, a right back.

The reports are that it's an obligation.

I like the player and think what happened the other night is a shame because he looked up for it. But realistically it's never going to work for him here and we need the leeway.

He's the sellable asset we have that we can lose without having a negative impact on the side in any way. We need another attacker in but we needed that any way.

Loan with an obligation to buy can be used in our favour for this season too, it can go against the FFP/profit and loss rules.
