25mil is a proper soft fee, hoping for more. Be glad to see rid of this dosser, he just never got motivated to play for the club.
If we get a loan fee too to cover his wages, would at least soften the blow

Didn't know he'd played for themId presume it’s more to do with his fitness than his attitude, his attitude can’t be that bad given Bayern wanted to make his loan deal permanent with them.
Didn't know he'd played for them![]()
yes I did
I think there is, Vlasic, Lookman now Kean, fans are being managed, players painted as trouble, not happy don’t want to be here in the media and we lap it up - there is a trend here 1. Lads get frustrated with a lack of development, 2 We don’t develop them, 3. Fans turn in them, we sell them and continue to post massive losses. We’re building nothing. We have no strategy, we’re developing nothing, we’re signing stuffs like Townsend. There is a trend to all of the above. There are only several many times you can blame the player. The other common dominator is the club and those involved in the development dept.
Our adverse financial position isn’t due to Covid, if there was no Covid we wouldn’t be brewstered we are we’re we are because of a series of bad decisions like this Kean deal.
Keans book price was 28 mill, he’s currently at 16.5. Compared to our losses and his wages vs the cost and wages of a replacement, say Maupay at a very kind 20 mill and wages of 4.5 annually (what Iwobi is on), then it’s still adverse financially and adds to our losses.
Stupid.
I'm certainly not going to start my 4 day weekend by reading up on how to account for transfers, but my instinct is that it shouldn't be that big a problem from an accounting perspective. So someone here on GOT knows how a loan + obligation for Kean categorically affects the PL P&S rules?

Hes rubbishCelik going to Athletico Madrid now. So another potential RB off the list. Starting to think that we won't get one at all, loan or otherwise.
That's not what I said.
Of course, yes we are lacking a definitive expert, but we can make at least informed suggestions or assumptions based on what has been reported. So it wouldn't be out of the realms of reasonability to state if Everton do agree to this deal, then they would be doing it knowing it would help us financially and ease those constraints.
I’m not sure the OP was really looking for assumptions and suggestions though.
Oh Tim, have you even Everton'd before?I'm certainly not going to start my 4 day weekend by reading up on how to account for transfers, but my instinct is that it shouldn't be that big a problem from an accounting perspective.
Unless we have cash flow problems, which i hope is not the case.
