Yeah, I know people who worked on the bottom live shows and they all told me bad things about him but with Vyvyan being one of my childhood heros I didn't believe them.

Then I was doing a show rehearsals for French & Saunders live tour and he was there as he is married to Saunders. The pair of them were absolutely vile.

Dawn French and lenny Henry on the other hand were two of the nicest people I've ever met.

If James is on the reported £200k a week and Porto are paying money towards it (say minimum of 50% and maximum of 100%) we could he saving anything from £5-10m meaning the deal could really be costing us £15-20m.

Edouard would be great rondon would be very disappointing not a bad player but not a good one either. Maitland Niles would be a not very funny joke.

People would be happy with Edouard.

But I don't think we're actually going to get Edouard. It's much more likely to be Rondon. Which is very, very meh.

Doesn't mean we shouldn't try it again and make it work.

It's unsustainable for a club who have made the recruitment mistakes we have made, to continue signing older players on big contracts. Rondon is certainly not good enough for me to change my opinion on that.

we're signing a back up striker, no good player wants to sit on our bench, You take what you can get, Rondon is fine for a bench galoot.
