The blame lies with Moshiri I’m afraid. You can’t blame it all on Brands because there is Walsh, Koeman and Allardyce who massively contributed to the mess we are in. Also, Alan and James were clearly signings made by Carlo, so it’s hard to pin those on him either. The one consistent throughout has been Moshiri.

I disagree. I'd prefer to never see Holgate at fullback again. I'd put Townsend at RB first.
