That was supposed to be one of the pluses of having a DOF though want it mate. That the club didn’t reboot with every managerial change and that there would be a coherent consistent continuity, absolutely hasn’t been the case.

We've not allowed it to not be the case. Moshiri going around the DOF to hire managers and then the managers given authority to go after targets has neutered Brands and whether you think Brands is good or not that type of system cannot work.

So are you are saying that Benitez doesn’t want better players than the likes of Rondon?

Brands is clearly not identifying players. Silva picked who he wanted, Ancelotti did, and now Benitez is. Whether or not that’s the way it should be is another argument but there is no doubt that Brands is not driving the transfer deals.
