Leeds have other England Internationals = Biesla

Do you think they could attract Bellingham?

Its 1 thing to dream, its quite another to enter a twilight zone.

Youre comparing Kalvin Philipps and Bielsa with our players and Ancelotti.

I think youre in the twilight zone lol

This is what I reckon we need to do hopefully there is funds available.

Right Back Aarons in £35m Kenny out £5m so that is £30m.

Right Forward New Player £40m Kean out £40m break even

Centre Midfield New Player £35m Delph out £2m £33m

Goalkeeper New Player £20m Olsen loan return £20m

Extra outs Tosun £5m Bernard £8m. Also off the wage bill Walcott, King, Bolasie, Besic

That would mean we need to find about £70m net.
That is a pretty logical and astute observation to make.

Although, how are we all feeling about Kean? If he comes back and decides that we wants to play for Everton, and convinces Carlo that he'll play with the same enthusiasm and vigour that he's shown at PSG, should we give him a shot next season? If he's being genuine, then I'd be curious to see what the lad can do.

If his heart is in it yes I would give him another go but unfortunately I don't think he's that type of player. Take the money while his stock is high

On paper a 21 year old Italian international smashing in goals for PSG an against Barca in the champions league sounds amazing. In reality, I suspect he has no desire to play for Everton again and would be behind DCL and Richie in the slotted queue.

Get as much as we can for him and fill a more pressing need.

Wishful thinking we will be paying them £2 million to take him. That makes it about £75 million needed.
Lol, if we're lucky!
This is still one of the most shocking signings that we've ever made. The only reason that contains any resemblance of common sense that I can ascertain, is that we saw an experienced ex-Man City English defensive midfielder and we just automatically assumed that we'd be getting Gareth Barry MK-II.
Man, I would literally slam my bellend in a desk draw if it meant that we could have a player like him calling the shots in our current squad.

I know lads. He definitely has a touch of the 'Royston Drenthe's' about him.

Lol, I'm just going against my better judgement and trying to give myself some enthusiasm for next season. lol
It's definitely @Zatara's blind hope and optimism! It's contagious. ;)

Very reasonable, BUT, if you're getting rid of Bernie, King and even Besic, they would need replacing, merely for numbers, but Besic would depend on Gmblammo.

With the 10 gone and 4 in it would leave us a squad of 24 3GK 8DF 7MF 6FW just as Brands wants.

GK
Pickford, Virginia, New
DF
Holgate, Keane, Digne, Mina, Nkounkou Godfrey, Coleman, New RB
MF
Allan, Sigurdsson, Doucoure, Gomes, Gbamin, Davies, New AM
FW
Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin, Iwobi, James, Gordon, New RF

That's 24. It's a bit optimistic that we get rid of the players on the out list but it's not impossible.

Fair enough, I like it.

But Zat told me we were spending 240m and buying Wonderkids, is this not happening now?

If we had £240 million to spend I would but I'll stick with 4 in 10 out. Ideally get Iwobi traded like for like and Gomes but I can cope with them as squad players. Coleman and Sigurdsson contracts expire next season so they can be released and replaced next summer.

Are you saying that you think Besic might even make the bench in that scenario? Because it might happen.
At this point, I'm just feigning hope in the chance that Gbamin will ever actually play for us.

When was the last time he was on the bench? Allardyce? Koeman?
Don't get me wrong, if he comes back and plays like how he played in his first season, I'll be the first to be doing somersaults off of the living room wall.

I don't understand what happened. To go from that first season of being a torpedo of pure unbridled Bosnian fury, to not even making the bench...
What are they seeing in training that we're not?

He is never coming back. Never.
