You’d like to think with that green light on stadium and lifting of FFP we could see some serious investment from usmanov. Pulling power of Carlo on the phone...

So are we sending Marcel to Italy to raid them for their best players? He can’t do any worse than Steve Walsh who came back with nothing but sunburn and a shed load of duty free.

Calciomercato has claimed that Kean is loving his time at the Parc des Princes, has a great working relationship with Mauricio Pochettino, and wants to stay in the French capital.

The outlet has also reported that PSG president Leonardo has made contact with Everton, and they are working on a deal, with the Toffees wanting around 50m Euro (around £43million).

I think that's a fair price especially as Juventus have no sell on clause so we would get the full amount.

I think we get €50m plus add a sell on clause from £27m is a great profit plus perfect for all parties.

It's a shame because I always like Kean but felt he was effected by circumstances like Silva leaving, Dunc subbing him v United, Covid, moving of the Euros and DCL form.

That’s a lot of excuses for not looking very good in an Everton shirt.

sell kean for 50 mil

spend 10 mil on a backup for DCL like Jonson Clarke-Harris

gives us 40 mil profit to put towards the jack grealish fund

We are not buying Grealish and I wouldn’t want him regardless. He’ll never be more expensive than he is now, and he’s yet another player who isn’t the fastest which is the last thing we need. He’s a very good player no doubt but this forum seems to have an odd obsession with him. We could have picked him up at any point in all those seasons Villa were battling relegation or in the championship but we didn’t and no one did. Now that he’s looking decent with some better players around him people are ok spending huge sums on him. Not for me. Far better value in the market and far better players.

You think our backup ST next season should be £10m on some journeyman 27-year old Peterborough striker in League One. Are you a regular smoker of DMT by any chance.
our main striker is one of the hottest strikers in the league, prob has a valuation of 100 mil and barely gets injuries

our backup striker will therefore prob only get 10 + mins at end of matches in the league or will play in cup games against lower opp

we therefore don't need to spend a huge amount of money on a backup striker but worst case scenario DCL gets a bad injury or something we need someone who could potentially step in for a while and perform

the worst thing we could do is spend 30-40 mil on a backup striker who barely gets a game like we did for Kean

if you look at some of the best strikers in our division right now, the majority came from the lower levels i.e. vardy, wilson, bamford, abraham, watkins etc

peteborough have produced some of the best strikers in recent years, they sold 25 year old ivan toney to brentford for 10 mil + addons last summer, he has 77 goals in his last 3 seasons, brentford might get promoted this season but even if they don't no way brentford sell him for less than what they sold Watkins for to Villa last summer which was 30 mil

so why not get those type of players straight from the producer

clarke-harris has 27 goals so far in his debut season at peterborough, ivan toney's best season was 26 goals in comparison.

we also have richarlison and king who can play in that support striker role so we can afford that risk to see if he can be like the next vardy for us

i'd rather take the punt

look at man utd with fernandes and without fernandes

that's the difference a grealish could do for us
