there's nothing wrong with lower league players

some of our first team players and some of the one's we have made the most money selling came from lower divisions.

Never said there aren’t good players in the lower leagues. I said this one particularly plan of yours is bonkers but you do often suggest gash things.

Calciomercato has claimed that Kean is loving his time at the Parc des Princes, has a great working relationship with Mauricio Pochettino, and wants to stay in the French capital.

The outlet has also reported that PSG president Leonardo has made contact with Everton, and they are working on a deal, with the Toffees wanting around 50m Euro (around £43million).

Near £20m profit on a player who was looking every inch a spectacular flop here. Dream stuff.

To think, we could take over £50m for the outs this summer, potentially.

One of my only worries with Carlo is he'll sign another slow midfielder for big money instead of a mobile one. In fairness, that's based on my relatively uneducated view that we need more running in the midfield, which could obviously be wrong. Maybe having more control over games through possession would reduce the need for running.

No doubt the player will be technically good, but with James already playing, I think a quick midfield might be needed. Maybe Gomes has just soured the idea of slower, more technical midfielders in my mind.

I’m sure he knows we need pace.

I think that's a fair price especially as Juventus have no sell on clause so we would get the full amount.

I think we get €50m plus add a sell on clause from £27m is a great profit plus perfect for all parties.

It's a shame because I always like Kean but felt he was effected by circumstances like Silva leaving, Dunc subbing him v United, Covid, moving of the Euros and DCL form.
You're right about the pricing. It's a decent return on the initial investment.

That final sentence though... you're absolving the player himself of all responsibility, which is ridiculous. He's a professional and an adult (albeit a young one). Covid and the Euros being moved is exactly the same circumstance now as it was then, so they cannot rationally be reasons for him underperforming for us yet playing very well for PSG. As for the whole "Dunc subbed him off" thing - sorry, he was playing badly so he got pulled. His fault, not Dunc's.

DCL's form and Silva leaving, yeah sure those are issues. But make no mistake, Kean didn't fancy earning his place and his agent, aware of this, got the wheels moving on another deal.

Andrea Belotti only has a year on his contract and rumoured to be available for €35mil.

Another Centre forward linked is Lautaro Martinez at Inter who can also play deeper.

Then we have Pedro Neto as a second expensive option who has played multiple wide positions this season and also switched to centre forward when needed...the same as Ismaila Sarr at Watford.

Antony is someone i like at Ajax who always plays wide but seems to be the type to play at 10 as well.

If Kean does move to PSG for £42.9mil++ then it will be interesting if we go for a pure centre forward like Belotti or someone that can play multiple attacking positions.
