Everton Summer transfers 2021

Think you need to forget about the USM naming rights, it will be used to pay off the stadium, don't get me wrong, its 20-30m we don't need to take out every year, but cant see much being available for players.

Regards FFP it was already unenforceable in this climate, but lets wait and see what it turns into.

Getting Bernie, Besic, Walcott and Bolaise off the books is worth about 370k a week to us, which is quite huge.

Im quite concerned that PSG and Mino will play games in the Summer, so wouldn't be shocked if we are stuck with or have to bow to another loan for Kean, but we shall see.

The Mosh is key to this summer tho, everything depends on him, I don't think he will be holding back in backing Carlo if able.
80m plus sales is my thinking

Moved this here, Pereira would be an upgrade on Bernard x 10. Could play James in the middle and Rich on the left with Lewin up front. Still need another striker, a goalie and a RB. That is a decent upgrade

Everton have the attacking potency of a King Charles Spaniel at times this season and need some big upgrades this summer.

Even with an unlimited budget I would put CB so far down the list its unreal.

I mean the pressing issues are RB, CM, RW.

Then GK, another RB, LW and probably another CM before I would touch the CBs.

Personally like.
It’s definitely not unreal, because IMO at the start of the 22/23 season. 2 of Keane, Mina and Holgate won’t be here.

we also have the 2yrs left for Mina, he’s a high earner. And do we give him even more wages. And a deal to take him to 31/32. And wouid easily be our highest earning CB. And he’s not even guaranteed to start, which is criminal

I would certainly look to move Holgate on personally.

Purchased for what £2 million? Get £20 million from a midtable outfit and make a solid profit on the books in addition to the Kean sale.

Think as the squads slowly improving he's regressing or his true level is showing in comparison to say Keane/Godfrey who are improving all the time.

So we should buy a 30-year-old CB so we don't have a 29-year-old Mina in 3 years?

An interesting solution.

Is it just me that finds it weird people are trying to sell our centre backs when it's one of very few positions which we don't need to worry about.
But we do, 2 can only play deep, so we have to give up so much possession. One looks really talented, but is still a bit raw. And one is nearly 25 and had a good half a season in 6 yrs. and will never be good enough for what we need.

Bar injury or suspension Keane & Mina will be our go to centre back pairing next season.

We wont be signing Big Kouli....vault me.
Why is Godfrey playing now then. I will tell you why, because With him at least we can move up the pitch a bit. Godfrey will be one of the CB’s next season guaranteed
