And I also reckon most of the people who are calling him World Class are only doing it cos that's the media narrative.

Dont get me wrong, he looks a unit, but we were told Allan was 1 of the best in Serie A and hes spent a lot of time this season chasing shadows, this ain't Serie A.

A CB would be the last of my priorities like - but I have a feeling with Kean likely out the door for £40+ million, a juicy USM naming rights deal coming in and potential the relaxing of FFP Carlo may go out and splash the cash on 4-5 top drawer players.

Add in a good few off the wage books and the likes of Bernard etc out the door freeing up big wages.

Think you need to forget about the USM naming rights, it will be used to pay off the stadium, don't get me wrong, its 20-30m we don't need to take out every year, but cant see much being available for players.

Regards FFP it was already unenforceable in this climate, but lets wait and see what it turns into.

Getting Bernie, Besic, Walcott and Bolaise off the books is worth about 370k a week to us, which is quite huge.

Im quite concerned that PSG and Mino will play games in the Summer, so wouldn't be shocked if we are stuck with or have to bow to another loan for Kean, but we shall see.

The Mosh is key to this summer tho, everything depends on him, I don't think he will be holding back in backing Carlo if able.

But if your car is old and has broken down and the kids are about to head off to university then you probably spend your money on the more pressing issues.

I think we have far bigger problems in the squad and I doubt we have an infinite budget this summer so we will need to resolve the biggest problems first.

But is the big issue sitting so deep? Carlo has said that Mina and Keane are brilliant if we sit deep. And I agree, they’re real soldiers in there for us, our success this season is down to them. But we also see the impact on possession, yes it doesn’t win matches, but we’ve been dreadful at times this season, luckily we’ve got stardust up front in DCL, richy and James.

Carlo said he wanted a VVD player, I can see koulibaly fitting that brief. I also think we’ll take that Napoli keeper, Carlo will build from the back and Pickford just has a brain fart in him. Get a RB (is it aarons?) and hopefully a fit doucs and gblammo (he’s gonna be boss, get behind him!) and we’ll be a much better side.

I’d like an iwobi upgrade too. James won’t play every week.

Improved us and getting us where we want to be aren't that same thing.

2 points off 4th if we win a game we might not win. Reality is we are 8th. We can evaluate this at the end when it is more clear but for now I wouldn't hang my hat on saying we're a lot better now.
