I think getting rid of Gomes is possible if they decide they want to sell. No one will buy Delph though.

That's probably true about Gomes I have no idea what the going rate would be for him. Like how do other teams perceive his ability? He's so mercurial , hopefully the prospective team scouts check out one of his rare performances of adequacy.

His value would have dropped but he has his moments, I think he'd do better in Italy

Depends on who our opponents are really, if say we are playing Burnley, two big units up front, then it's definitely Mina and Keane. On the other hand, say Liverpool or Man City, then it has to be Godfrey and one of Keane/ Mina.

When Carlo assembles his squad, Godfrey will be in a centre half pairing alongside someone of koulibalys ilk. Keane and Mina won’t be in ancelotti’s long term thinking

....Vydra isn’t a ‘big unit’, he caused Keane all types of problems when we recently played Burnley.

it’s all about opinion, but regardless of who we play, Godfrey is now first choice CB. We seem well covered there (remember Gbamin can also cover CB), I see no reason why we’d be after another central defender unless Keane or Mina is leaving.

RB, back up striker, a creative and mobile central midfielder & a goal scoring RW would be positions where we could improve the quality of the squad.
